Produced in only 18 units, the 33 Stradale is one of the rarest Alfa Romeos ever. Production of this relatively small hypercar (3.97 x 1.71 meters) began in 1967 and ended two years later. The design, similar to that of the contemporary Lamborghini Miura, is indisputably beautiful and has a line similar to that of the most modern super sports cars of the “Biscione”, such as the 4C and 8C Competizione. The butterfly doors are a further sign of the great care applied to the creation of the 33 Stradale. The aerodynamic coefficient has excellent levels. The chassis is of aeronautical derivation and, in addition to an engine composed only of aluminum and magnesium, allows the car to weigh just 690 kilograms. The performance of the 230 horsepower engine combined with a six-speed manual gearbox is nothing short of sensational. At the time, the 33 Stradale was one of the most expensive cars on sale.
