The Alfa Romeo Giulia Veloce, presented in 2016 at the Paris Motor Show, is one of the Italian sports cars par excellence. It is not the fastest nor the most technological in its class, but it is one of the most fun to drive, and it comes with a detailed and easily recognizable design. Its line is as beautiful and elegant as its name, but perhaps these details can only be understood by those who, like me, are Italian. It’s not as extreme as the Giulia Quadrifoglio, but it collides with equally beautiful German cars such as the Mercedes C43 AMG, the BMW 4 Series M Sport, and the Audi S5. The Giulia Veloce (Veloce in Italian means fast) can have a 2.2 210 or 2.0 280 horsepower engine, both equipped with an eight-speed automatic gearbox. Mechanically, the Giulia Veloce offers impeccable quality (confirmed by the 5 stars to the NCAP euro). ABS, Cruise Control, pedestrian recognition, and stability control are standard.
