The Aston Martin DB4, produced in 1210 units from 1958 to 1963, is one of the rarest and most desired vintage cars. It is distinguished by its Italian style; in fact, its body is produced in Italy. The DB4 is very light (1300 kilos) thanks to the extensive use of aluminum in the body’s construction and engine. The latter is a powerful 240 horsepower straight-six, which however suffers from severe overheating. The “DB4 Vantage” version reaches 266HP, but there are sports versions such as the “DB4 GT Zagato” which have a power even higher than 300HP. The braking system consists of four disc brakes. The 1962 redesign makes the DB4 more imposing and massive, and very similar to that of the DB5. In the same year, a Cabriolet version enters the scene, which is almost impossible to find today.
