In an era where all the major luxury car manufacturers are launching into the premium SUV market, which promises high sales volumes and high-profit margins, Aston Martin accepts the challenge and proposes the DBX as an alternative to vehicles such as the Lamborghini Urus and the Porsche Cayenne. The DBX debuts on the international market in 2019, and has impressive dimensions: 5,03 x 1,98 meters; the weight is 2245 kilos. While from the front the DBX is very rounded, the rear aesthetic curves are reminiscent of those of a Coupe and there is a captivating spoiler. The doors on the sides are without frames. Many components derive from the Aston Martin Vantage. The interior space is perfect for five people, and the trunk has a capacity of 632 liters. The driver enjoys a virtual cockpit, while the heart of the infotainment is the 12-inch central display. A noteworthy mechanical feature of this car is the adaptive shock absorbers, which allow for height adjustment from the ground. The beating heart of the DBX is a powerful AMG-derived engine combined with a nine-speed automatic transmission.
