The 3 Series is completely renewed in 2019. So the G20 (or G21 if we talk about the Touring version) looks like a mature sedan with an aggressive design, in which the typical BMW grilles are highlighted even more. An exceptional aspect of the new lines is the aerodynamic penetration coefficient, which scores an excellent result of 0.23. Internal finishes are also meant to be renewed, and the overall feel is that of high quality. This vehicle is also roomy enough for rear travelers and offers discreet luggage. The new platform is called “Cluster Architecture”, and is built with a large use of aluminum. The result is that, despite having grown in size, the G20 is 55kg lighter than the previous model, the F30. The proposed engines are all very powerful: ranging from 150 horsepower for the basic diesel version (the 318d), passing through many hybrid engines up to 382 horsepower for the M340i version. The most bought configuration is for the moment the 320d (you can read its technical specifications in the datasheet below). And for those who want to exaggerate, we can consider the M3. The price is high, and the technologies remain slightly less advanced than those of some rivals, which are however very expensive too, such as the Audi A4 and the Mercedes C-Class. A slightly cheaper alternative could be the Alfa Romeo Giulia.
