The second generation of the BMW 4 Series is presented in 2020 in the Coupe (G22, pictured), Convertible (G23), and later Gran Coupe (G26) versions. The design of the luxurious three-door of the Bavarian brand receives a substantial redesign, in which the new vertically developed front grids immediately catch the eye. These grids also had to face a lot of criticism for causing a break with the style of the past. There are also new LED headlights with adaptive technology to always guarantee an excellent performance. Also, the new design is excellent in terms of aerodynamics: the new 4 Series achieves a Cx of just 0.25. Many components are shared with the 3 Series G20 and G21. While the trunk is small in size, the interior is roomy for those traveling in the front seats. The numerous safety and driving assistance technologies are combined with a very well-finished infotainment system with a screen adjustable both via touch screen and with practical analog buttons. All the engines in the range are very sporty, and there is no shortage of hybrid versions. For those who want to go beyond all limits, there is the new M4 G82, which is currently the most powerful derivative of the 4 Series ever produced in series. The new 4 Series collides with fearsome German rivals, such as the Mercedes C-Class and Audi A5.
