Recognizable by the code name “G06”, the third generation of the SUV Coupe BMW X6 debuted in 2019 with a design similar but even more aggressive: the curves on the hood and sides are more pronounced and the dimensions of the grille and headlights slightly increased from the previous generation. On the occasion of the announcement of the car, the “Vantablack” version was also presented, known for having a 99% matt paint finish made of carbon microtubes. The Vantablack could not be commercialized as its near-total opacity makes it impossible to see at night. The interior has the typical high quality of BMW’s premium models and there are some truly luxurious goodies as options, such as the illuminated front grille and the heated and cooled cup holders. The boot has a capacity of 580 liters and the dimensions of 4,93 x 2,00 meters are similar to those of the previous generation, but the platform has been redesigned: it is the “CLAR” structure already tested in the X5, as well as in the 5 and 7 Series. There are two petrol engines (the 335HP 6-cylinder xDrive40i and the 523HP V8 BiTurbo M50i) and two diesels (the 261HP 6-cylinder xDrive30d and the 394HP 6-cylinder QuadriTurbo M50d). The X6 G06 is sold at a price high but in line with that of competitors such as the Mercedes GLE and the Audi Q8.
