The 5th gen. Tahoe, whose codename is GMT1YC, is an imponent SUV produced by Chevrolet starting from 2021. Compared to the previous generation, this new Tahoe is even bigger (5,35 vs 5,19 meters in length and 2,06 vs 2,04 in width) and appears with a much more modern design. Thanks to its huge dimensions, the 5th gen. Tahoe can accommodate up to nine passengers and keep a trunk capacity of 722 liters (22,5 cubic feet); when the third and the second rows are folded down, the capacity reaches 3480 liters (129,9 cubic feet)! The interior looks spacious, and most of the dashboard is covered by high-quality leather. The main screen is a comfortable and well-positioned LCD. Other advanced technologies, such as the all-new virtual cockpit, the two rear interactive 12,6” LCDs, and the head-up display are available as paid options. The task of moving a 2500kg mass (5500 pounds) is left to an in-line 6-cylinder 277HP, V8 355HP, or V8 420HP engine and to an automatic 10-speed gearbox. The 5th gen. Tahoe is sold mainly in the United States (where it also works as a police car) together with its even bigger sister, the 5,64 meters long Suburban GMT T1XK.
