Eight years after the end of its predecessor’s production, the Chrysler Pacifica 2nd gen. enters the market. It’s 2016, and the Minivan market already offers many valid alternatives such as the Dodge Caravan, the Kia Sedona, and the Honda Odyssey. The dimensions of the Pacifica are 5,17 x 2,03 meters. There are numerous stylistic references to the Chrysler 200. It’s possible to choose between a frugal 264HP Hybrid version or a powerful 291HP petrol version. In both cases, the guaranteed performances are excellent. At the beginning of the production, engineers and marketers also thought to create a variant with a 100% electric motor, but later this idea was discarded. In 2020, a restyling (pictured) gives the Pacifica new Full LED headlights and fog lights and the advanced “UConnect 5” infotainment system with a 10-inch screen and support not only for Apple Car Play and Android Auto but also for the assistant virtual Amazon Alexa. While the engines remain unchanged in the 2020 version, at a mechanical level the possibility of choosing an AWD configuration combined only with the petrol engine (not the Hybrid one) arrives.
