Produced since 2012, the Daihatsu Ayla is a small car sold only in emerging countries. The Ayla is known with other names in some countries: Toyota Wigo in Vietnam, the Philippines, Sri Lanka and Brunei; Toyota Ayga in Indonesia, the Caribbean and some countries of Central and South America; Perodua Axia in Malaysia. the finishes are cheap, and therefore mainly in plastic. Inside you can enjoy good instrumentation thanks to the adoption of an optional LCD screen. The Ayla could initially be equipped with only one engine, a 65HP 1.0 petrol. On the occasion of a restyling in 2017, a more powerful 1.2 88HP was added to the range. It is possible to have an automatic gearbox on request.
