Born in 1940, the Custom was one of the first successful Dodges, at least before the arrival of World War II. Available as 2 or 4-door Sedan, 2-door Coupe, 2-door Cabriolet or 4-door Limousine, the Custom is a full-size car initially equipped with a 91HP 3.6 in-line 6-cylinder. Its production stopped in 1942 due to war and resumed in 1946, when it was reintroduced with a renewed front design and a 6-cylinder engine, but with a 3.8 displacement and a power of 102HP.
