Characteristic of the Daytona is the 2.2 petrol engine, available in turbocharged and aspirated variants. The power of this engine varies from 94 to 224HP depending on the year of production and the presence of the turbocharger or not. In 1990 a 3.0 V6 variant with a power of 141HP was also introduced.
