The 456 GT (or simply 456) is one of the least famous Ferraris, but at the same time it is the longest-lived one: it remained in production from 1992 to 2003, selling a total of around 3500 units. The design, quite similar to that of the rival Porsche 928, is characterized by soft lines and retractable headlights. The setting is 2 + 2 seats, but the space in the back is absolutely tight. The interior is essential and elegant; the leather covers not only the seats, but also the doors and numerous details. The gear lever is completely made of metal. The beating heart of the 456 is a powerful V12 engine that delivers excellent rumble and thrilling performance, but this car remains very comfortable to drive. ABS increases safety. The exhaust system consists of two pairs of exhaust pipes. In 1998 the Italian brand introduced a second generation called the 456 M, which has the same engine but introduces traction control.
