The Ford Ka Plus, produced since 2016, has very little to do with the normal Ka, a bit like the Ford Mustang (sports car) and the Mustang Mach-E (electric SUV). First of all, the Ka+ now has 5 doors, which never happened for the old model. Most of its structure and components come from the sixth generation Ford Fiesta. The interiors offer as options basic technologies such as automatic climate control and an LCD control display, and the quality of the rigid plastics isn’t very good, even in the facelift version of 2018. There are two engines: one with 70 and one with 85 horsepower. The Ford Ka+ succeeded in Brazil, which is also the country where Ford produces it, while it wasn’t for sale in many other states. In Europe and the US, this car has been a commercial failure. The prices were convenient if we consider that cars like the Dacia Sandero, Volkswagen Polo, and Seat Ibiza are similar to this one.
