The VF Commodore was the last in a long line of Australian made cars to be produced, along with being the most technologically advanced car ever made in Australia. The VF Commodore was available with multiple engine choices from a based 3.0L V6 all the way to the ls9 in the special edition HSV GTS-R w1. With a power output ranging from 185kw (250bhp in the 3.0L v6) to 474KW (635bhp in the 6.2L ls9 V8) and if you felt like more power, there was the dealer option of the Walkinshaw performance packs. Walkinshaw run HSV (think AMG or BMW M) and had a selection of performance packs with up to 750bhp available with a standard factory warranty in place for all cars fitted with the upgrades.
