After a first generation with a much-criticized design, the 2017 Jeep Compass distorts the situation: now it’s less rough and looks more like a family car than an off-road vehicle. Much of its mechanics (including the structure, which is just a bit longer) are shared with the Renegade, while aesthetically this car is deliberately inspired by the Grand Cherokee. The basic engine, the one in the datasheet below, cannot take advantage of the 4×4 all-wheel drive.
