The Jeep Grand Cherokee WK2 is launched in 2010 and is the first generation of this model produced in collaboration with Fiat. The rugged and masculine exterior style is accompanied by impressive dimensions and weight: 4,82 x 1,94 meters and a mass that fluctuates between 2200 and 2400 kilograms depending on the equipment chosen. Inside the space abounds, but on an aesthetic level, there are no noteworthy details. The V6 or even V8 engines produced by the specialized brand “VM Motors” are very powerful but necessary to move such heavy mass. The success of the WK2 is good among the public, moreover, this car will be chosen by the Italian police. In 2013, was launched a restyling (pictured) that makes the Grand Cherokee more aesthetically delicate: for example, the characteristic front grilles are now thinner and less conspicuous. Compared to similarly priced German rivals like the Audi Q7 and BMW X5, the Grand Cherokee proves more effective off-road, but technologically it still lacks some features found in other flagships. Prices are way higher in Europe than in the United States.
