The Lexus CT is a premium Japanese compact that faces many German rivals, such as Volkswagen Golf, Audi A3, Mercedes A-Class, and BMW 1 Series and which, just like most of its rivals, is sold at a particularly high price, which is justified only in part by the modern and original design and high build quality. With the facelift 2018, the CT gains a design with less smooth lines, LED headlights, and the same infotainment as the NX, whose main component is a large 10-inch display. Furthermore, again in the facelift 2018, the optional “Lexus Safety System +” package is introduced. Its hybrid engine is very similar to one of the Toyota Prius. This engine (hence the name 200h) combines a 99 horsepower petrol engine with two electric ones that produce a total of 82HP. The total engine power of the 200h reaches 136HP.
