Also known as the 929 in foreign markets, the Mazda Sentia is a small premium JDM produced in two generations from 1991 to 2000. The name Sentia derives from the Latin verb “Sentir”, which means to feel. Called “HD”, the first generation was identified as a premium car by the choices to include ABS as standard and to adopt only V6 engines. The basic engine is in fact made up of a 158HP 2.5 engine with 6 V-cylinders. Then there are two V6 3.0 variants, one of 160 and one of 205HP. Introduced in 1995, the second generation “HE” is based on a new, smaller platform. The mechanics remained similar, but the basic 2.5-liter model was removed from the list.
