Introduced in 2021, the EQA is the first Mercedes small electric SUV ever to be marketed. The EQA is based on the platform of its petrol-powered sister GLA, albeit modified. The EQA is in fact longer (4,46 meters) and heavier (over 2000 kilos) and features a futuristic design with full LED headlights and no front grille. Unlike that of the more expensive EQS, the interior is similar to that of the GLA, in which the infotainment consists of two displays (one central and one that acts as a cockpit) enclosed in a single glass structure. There are three engines available: 190, 228, and 292HP. All versions come with a 66.5kWh battery, which, according to Mercedes, guarantees a range of between 400 and 500 kilometers with a single charge. Thanks to the CCS (Combined Charging System) standard, the EQA supports fast-charging up to 100kW.
