The Mitsubishi 3000 GT (also called GTO in Japan and Dodge Stealth in the United States) is a high-performance Japanese Coupe (and Spyder from 1995) produced from 1990 to 2001. This 4,56 meters long and 1,83 wide vehicle has a simple and beloved design and weights starting from 1750 kilos. The rear spoiler is easily adjustable and is certainly useful in improving the general car’s aerodynamics. Mechanically, the 3000 GT comes by default with four powerful self-ventilated disk brakes and its suspension can be set in two different modes: “Sport” and “Tour”. The supercharged V6 engine powers all the wheels, and the AWD traction is permanent. In 2003 Mitsubishi introduced a facelift (pictured) just to replace the retractable lamps with permanent ones. The 3000 GT was sold as an alternative to legendary cars like the Toyota Supra MK4 and the MAZDA RX-7. This strong concurrency was probably the main reason for the scarce commercial success of the so-called Mitsubishi GTO.
