With the eighth generation of the Lancer Evolution, for the first time, there’s a 6-speed manual gearbox. The European differs from the Japanese one: the engine has 265HP, while the Japanese one 280, and the European spoiler is smaller. Similar cars include the Subaru Impreza and the WRX. Its successor is the Evo 9th gen.
