The fourth generation of the Opel Corsa, nicknamed “D”, produced from 2006 to 2014, is a great opponent to vehicles like the Citroen C3 and the Ford Fiesta. The dimensions are 4,00 x 1,71 meters, and the weight varies from 1100 to 1300 kilos depending on the version chosen. The trunk has a capacity of 285 liters with seats not reclined. Both three-door and five-door variants are available. As you can see in the photo, the new design is decidedly more aggressive and similar to that of the Astra H than that of the Corsa C. The interior has a lively aesthetic: the seats and colored details contrast with the dark colors of the plastics. The suspension scheme includes a now tested coupled between MacPherson at the front and interconnected wheels at the rear. The braking system consists of disc brakes at the front and drum brakes at the rear. The engines vary in power from 60 to 90HP. There is no lack of much sportier versions such as the 150HP GSi. ABS and ESP safety systems are standard. The overall resistance of this car is also excellent: this is confirmed by the 5-star result in the Euro NCAP crash tests.
