The second generation of the Peugeot 208 was presented in 2019 and brought numerous changes with it. The new design, in particular, has more modern and sophisticated lines and is recognizable from that of the previous generation especially thanks to the new LED headlights. The 2nd gen. 208 measures 4,05 meters in length and comfortably accommodates four people in an interior of good quality and with technologies in step with the times. There are three PureTech petrol engines available: 75, 100, or 130HP; the diesel one is unique and has a power of 100HP. There is also an electric variant, the “e-208”, which, combined with a 50kWh battery, has a variable power: 82HP in “Eco” mode, 109HP in “Normal” mode, and 136HP in “Sport” mode. In the mixed cycle, the e-208 has a range of 340km; recharging takes half an hour to allow the car to reach 80% of the autonomy if you use a fast-charging column, while with a normal socket it can take more than 16 hours. Compared to that of most of the competitors, the price is convenient.
