The Renault 5 is a two-door little city car produced in a single generation from 1972 to 1984. It measures 3,52 x 1,53 meters and weights from 700 to 810 kilos depending on the engine and equipment chosen. Most of the mechanics are in common with the Renault R4, and the engines (ranging from 36 to 58HP) derive from Peugeot. There are four drum brakes as standard, but front disk brakes are available for the most expensive variants.
