The third generation of the Seat Leon joins the market in 2012 with a modernized design but faithful to the stylistic lines of the previous generation. In addition to the standard version, it is also possible to purchase the SC (three-door Sport Coupe) and ST (Sports Tourer) versions. Most of the components are shared with the Volkswagen Golf and Audi A3, it follows that this vehicle inherits a good interior quality from its German sisters. The excellent general resistance is confirmed by the result of five stars in the Euro NCAP crash tests. The engines start from a simple 86 horsepower 1.2 TSI, but there is also the FR sports version (which you can see in the photo) with a 2.0 185HP engine and Cupra with a power of 300HP. This Cupra set a speed record at the Nurburgring (7′58″12) for its category. This record was however beaten a few months later. In 2017, an aesthetic restyling was introduced with an evolved infotainment.
