The Simca 1000 is an Italian-French car produced from 1961 to 1978 by Simca in collaboration with Fiat. The 1000 is a three-volume intended for the general public, and its design is therefore simple both externally and internally. The Simca 1000 shares most of its mechanics with the contemporary Fiat 600. We therefore find a hydraulic braking system with four drum brakes, a four-speed gearbox and a 34HP 944cc engine. The mechanics and aesthetics were subject to small variations during production.
