In its second generation, which was introduced in 2010, the Volvo S60 was a further subject of the marked aesthetic renewal that took place in the range of the Swedish brand in that historical period. The body adopts the numerous and evident ribs that debuted a short time before with the advent of the XC60, which in fact adopts the same โ€œY20โ€ platform. Among the aesthetic differences from the generation that preceded it, the 2010 S60 features a larger grille and LED headlights with split arrows, as well as an all-new Volvo logo. A small static spoiler is located on the boot lid. The quality of the interior has also improved considerably, thanks to the wider use of soft plastics and inserts in precious materials such as aluminum and, on request, wood. An interesting new detail is the fact that the dashboard is now slightly oriented towards the driver. As on every modern Volvo, there is no shortage of complex safety systems. The engines offered are numerous, ranging in power from 114 to 337HP. Some engines can be combined with all-wheel drive. In 2013, a slight facelift (pictured) resulted in some minor changes to the front of the car.
