In 2015, celebrating a new automotive brand’s birth, the Citroen DS4 turns its name into “DS 4”. Initially, the new “DS” logo appears on the car’s body only in the most expensive editions. But, for nearly a year, the DS 4 hadn’t brought any major improvement before a facelift came out. With this restyling, the DS 4 acquires an aesthetic personality and equips a new range of powerful and less polluting engines. Even if the standard DS 4 is already a mix between a Sedan and a Crossover, with this facelift also a new “Crossback” version is introduced. The Crossback (pictured), besides, to be raised by 3 centimeters compared to the standard DS 4, features specifically designed alloy rims and roof bars, or plastic protections. The engines are the same for both versions and range from 99 to 211HP. In 2021, the production of this 1st gen. comes to an end and a successor arrives. Overall, the first-gen. DS 4 had good commercial success in China, but not in Europe.
