The success of the previous X6 has pushed BMW designers not to deviate much from the original formula, so the second generation of the so-called SUV Coupe appears almost as a restyling of the first, rather than as a real new version of it. In reality, the improvements have been many: in the face of almost coincident dimensions, the car body has been revised in general, to improve the aerodynamic penetration coefficient, which has thus fallen from 0.35 to 0.32.
