Audi produces the 3rd generation (B8) Audi RS4 starting from 2012 in parallel with the A4 and S4 sisters. Compared to the latter, the structure is similar, but the design is a bit more aggressive. There are Audi Xenon headlights as standard. The interiors have excellent build quality and provide a good balance between sportiness and comfort, which is guaranteed by the bucket seats and the advanced infotainment system. It is possible to have real carbon fiber inserts as an option. The beating heart of the RS4 B8 is a powerful 450 horsepower V8 engine, the same as the 2010 Audi RS5, paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox. A very expensive but at the same time very interesting option are the ceramic brakes, which guarantee braking performance comparable to that of a supercar. This RS4 constitutes a valid alternative to the RS6 C7, as it is more manageable and much less expensive, although the price remains high. Among the competitors of other brands, we find the Mercedes C63 AMG and the BMW M3. Production of the B8 ends in 2015 when it is replaced by the fourth generation of the Audi A4, S4, and RS4.
