The first-generation Chrysler 300 C (of which the Touring version was also launched) has a deliberately similar name to that of the 300 produced in the 1950s. It strikes easily thanks to its counter-trend design and is equipped with engines of enormous size: the smallest is a V6 (which is derived from the Mercedes E-Class W211)! In the technical data sheet below we find information regarding the V8 HEMI 5.7 model. The automatic transmission is made by Mercedes, while the manual one is Chrysler. This generation of the 300 C remained on the market from 2004 to 2010 and was then replaced by its second generation, which was called Lancia Thema in the European market.
