Production of the fourth generation of the impressive Jeep Wrangler begins in 2017. The design is not distorted compared to the previous generation, but the proportions now have a more homogeneous appearance. The JL measures a total of 4,23 meters in length and 1,87 in width. The interiors, considering that we are talking about an off-road vehicle, have a more elegant aesthetic than one might expect, and the central console gives the perception of having a high build quality. The air vents are four, round, and well-spaced from each other. In addition to the central LCD, which can be 5, 7, or 8 inches, the driver can benefit from a cockpit with analog counters but also a digital central part whose parameters can be adjusted at will. As far as safety is concerned, the JL is really disappointing: it scores a minimum of 1 out of 5 on the Euro NCAP crash tests, which is not reassuring for passengers! This generation also increases driving comfort in city environments. The available versions of the Wrangler JL are the Sport, the Sport S, the Sport Altitude, Sahara, the Sahara Altitude, the Rubicon (pictured), and the Moab. Wrangler’s principal competitor is a fellow countryman Ford Bronco.
