The last Nissan Silvia ever produced, the S15 (successor to the S14) is perhaps also the most legendary. It is a 2+2 seater that comes with two engines: a turbo called Spec-R with 250 horsepower (like the one in the photo), and one aspirated by “only” 165 horsepower called Spec-S, which however was only sold in Japan, New Zealand, and Australia. The S15, which is considered a very coveted JDM (although it is not really a JDM, as it was NOT only produced only in Japan but by now this acronym has taken on a different meaning). The Spec-R has a 6-speed manual gearbox. The Spec-S has only 5, or they both can have a 4-speed automatic gearbox combined with the Nissan HICAS (High Capacity Steering Wheel) configurable for both versions, which allowed steer the rear wheels. The Spec-S version will later receive an update with a 200HP engine and will inherit much of the mechanics of the Spec-R. This car is often aesthetically compared to the Toyota Celica T23.
