Known in Japan as “Toyota Soarer”, the Lexus SC is a medium-sized sports car produced in two generations from 1991 to 2010. The first generation (1991-2001) was only available in Coupe variant and offered with two different engines: the “300”, a 6-cylinders in-line of 225HP and the “400”, a V8 which initially offered 250HP, and which in the following years was upgraded first to 260HP and then to 290HP. The second generation is instead a Cabriolet whose roof is produced with the same rigid materials used in the body (steel and aluminum). The 2nd gen. Lexus SC also features a very different design and equips the “430” engine, a 300HP V8 that was weakened to 288HP in 2006.
