The Lexus Radical Coupe (abbreviated to RC) is a Lexus sports car born in 2013 and which in 2018 receives a facelift (which you can see in the photo). The similarities with the Lexus IS are many, in fact, these two vehicles are based on the same structure, but the RC has 3 doors and the IS has 5. The design is aggressive and original, and the attention to detail has nothing to envy to the German counterparts, such as the Audi A5 and the BMW 4 Series. The standard 18 inches wheels are pleasantly large. This car is quite heavy: it weighs over 1700kg. In the pre-facelift generation of 2013 the interior is very special: All the elements of the dashboard, such as the air vents, have square shapes and have a somewhat anachronistic style. The situation improves in the facelift 2018, where the car is much more digitized. All the versions produced are very performing, even if objectively not as fast as those of some rivals. There is no shortage of hybrid engines (those with the “h” designation) and, since 2015, there is also a sports version called RC-F, which thanks to a 471 horsepower engine reaches 100km/h in 4,5 seconds. This vehicle certainly offers very good overall quality, but its price is quite steep.
