To replace the old GLK and provide an alternative to the BMW X1, in 2019 Mercedes-Benz announces the GLB, a medium-sized SUV (4.63 x 1.83 meters). The design certainly makes it more impressive than its little sister, the GLA, but in reality, the mechanics of these two cars are very similar. Inside the finishes are of a high standard and this car can accommodate up to seven people as optional. This option and the great comfort make the GLB a very nice car for big families. The MBUX infotainment system (acronym for Mercedes-Benz User Experience) provides high-level technologies. The “Dynamic Select” function allows you to quickly switch from one driving style to another. The glossy 10-inch main display also gives the car a modern touch. There are no hybrid versions for sale, and in general, on petrol and Diesel engines fuel consumption is quite high. However, the base engine with only 116HP is definitely boring, but the sportiest version, the GLB 35 AMG, reaches 306HP, and that’s really a lot! The prices of the GLB are quite high.
