The Opel Slalom is a concept car born based on the Calibra in 1996. It is a spacious 3-door measuring 4,64 meters in length, 1,86 in width and only 1,32 in height. Its futuristic design is characterized by large glass surfaces, as well as by huge triangular headlights on the front. The proportions of the chassis are well taken care of and optimized from the aerodynamic point of view. The interiors are simpler and more traditional, and are very reminiscent of those of the Calibra. The mechanics, largely inherited from the Calibra, consists of a 2.0 16V turbocharged engine with 204HP of power and 280NM of torque combined with an all-wheel-drive system. This engine guarantees a maximum speed of 245km/h and accelerates from 0 to 100km/h in 6,8 seconds.
