The Chevelle is a medium-sized American car produced in three generations by Chevrolet between 1964 and 1977. It was proposed as a direct competitor of the Pontiac GTO, and was produced in many variants, but only as a 2-door Coupe or Cabriolet or as a 4-door Sedan. One of its most successful variants was the Malibu, which in the years to come became a model in its own right. The Malibu represented the most luxurious variant of the range, thanks to its complete equipment and its good interior finishes. The Chevelle was very successful thanks to its size, small but at the same time bigger than enough to accommodate five passengers. Precisely for those who needed a familiar model, the “Greenbrier” version was produced between 1969 and 1972.
