The Corvette is a sports car produced by Chevrolet since 1953. We can consider it the first car in this segment made in the United States of America, so much so that it became the American sports car par excellence. It is still in production. Thanks to the philosophy that favored mechanical simplicity over direct competitors, it resulted in a light, small, and relatively cheap car. Its less powerful version has 466 horsepower, while the most powerful one reaches 755 horsepower.
