The EVO can be considered an official evolution of the Lamborghini Huracan under various aspects. The most important improvement resides in the engine: the legendary V10 now has up to 640 horsepower and has been inherited from the Huracan Performante, but there is also a slightly cheaper 610HP version shared with the Audi R8 V10 Plus. The performances, needless to say, are those of a true supercar. The rims are 20” large and combined with carbon-ceramic brakes of quite generous dimensions while inside, in addition to the more traditional premium materials such as leather, aluminum, and Alcantara, there are inserts made of a special carbon fiber patented by Lamborghini, which has the name of “Carbon Skin”. The gearbox is automatic or via the paddles on the steering wheel, simulating a pure racing feeling. The infotainment derives from Audi and its main screen measures 8,4 inches. The driver also benefits from a virtual cockpit with configurable digital dials. Among the options, there is a rear camera for parking and for the Lifting System, which is a complex mechanism that allows you to raise the EVO by 4,5 centimeters if the moving speed is lower than 70 kilometers per hour. This allows the Huracan to be adapt even for slightly unpaved roads. The price is correct considering the build quality and worth of the Lamborghini brand. In May 2020, also cheaper RWD versions are introduced and cost around 30.000€/$ less. Among the opponents of this car, there are the Ferrari F8 Tributo and Spider, the Porsche 911 Turbo S and the McLaren 720S.
