In 2018 the third generation of the VW Touareg was launched. It’s a very lucky SUV, as it shares several components with other much-loved cars, which are the Lamborghini Urus, the Audi Q7 and Q8, the Bentley Bentayga, and the Porsche Cayenne. In fact, all these vehicles are based on the MLB Evo platform developed by the Volkswagen Group. The dimensions are of a medium-high sized SUV since the length is less than 4.7 meters, but it is not a real off-road vehicle: a Range Rover Sport would certainly be more suitable for this task. The engines of this flagship start from a 2.0 engine with 249 horsepower up to a mighty 422HP V8. Technologies are very advanced and safety is guaranteed but is just in line with the competition. Prices are slightly lower than those of competitors, among which, in addition to those already mentioned, it is worth nominating the BMW X5 and the Volvo XC90.
